If you still have not heard the news today astronomers announced they have found a planet that is in the habitable zone of its star. This means that the planet is not too close to the star so the water boils out, nor too far so it freezes. It is at the right distance so the water is in liquid state and scientists believe that liquid water is the most important precondition for life to form.

There are 2 things here: whether the start can support life and whether it has life. Being able to support life is not the same as having it. Even though scientists believe that the planet supports life I don't really believe it possess it. I cannot really support my belief with real arguments. I just think that scientist are so excited of the possibility of finding life on another planet (ant get the fame and credit for it) that they are exaggerating the facts and showing off too much.
