At this point the USA is the best place to live.

@mipmip, I don't want to depreciate Europe virtues. I am just a little bored here already and I'd like to try something new. The USA seems to be the most natural choice.
I believe there is some sort of trend/fashion around to not like USA. I am not saying you follow the trend, only that I have spotted its existence. And I don't like this trend because I don't see any difference between it and not liking the Muslims for example. For me it's the same thing.
I also don't regard money as something bad. Probably not the first goal in life, but I look at it more favourably than unfavourably and I don't see anything bad if someone wants to become wealthy.

@Steliyan_Petkov_Georgiev: Well, if money making is your game, yep, the U$ is the place to be. And by the way I don't perceive historical memory as a burden or something bad. On the contrary - history keeps you from repeating mistakes. And I think the lack of it is in the core of many of big-overseas-bro's shortcomings.

@mipmip, I believe so. From my point of view you don't serve the country. Well, you can regard so, but this is emotional. The country will most like receive something from you, but this is true for any country you live in. On the other side you can also receive a lot of things from the USA - economic freedom, great environment for entrepreneurship, and the positivism of people who are not burdened by the historical memory of the old world.

I'm not willing to serve the mightiest and that makes me prejudiced? No, I don't like Berlusconi because he's a arrogant and corrupt plutocrat. I don't have any insight into Sarcozy's rule. But they are nowhere near starting wars for profit. And if you don't like Sarozy - you don't go to France, go to Spain or Slovenia or Estonia or ... you get the point.

@mipmip, I think you are kind of prejudiced here. America has this foreign policy because it is currently the mightiest country in the world. Any country is going to have this kind of policy if it was in a position to afford it.
I also like Europe, but it is getting boring. Regarding the policy part I will mention only two names - Sarcozy and Berlusconi. Do you like their policies?
@Petar_Dimov, Australia sounds great for a vacation, but you'll be oceans away from you family.

If this is the only choice definitely Europe. I don't like the US foreign policy. I don't like the US internal policy. I don't like the US.

Australia is the place to be - get the best of both worlds.

I don't think USA is the only one and best alternative of Europe and vice versa.

@z_free, Agree about the social environment you live in. But in America there are more social groups with positive thinking and entrepreneurship in their blood so the chances you come across one is much higher, hence your chances higher. Of course there are chances to losvk genuine optimism in the USA and there are chances to be successful in Somalia, but what are these chances? So the country does matter.
I also like Europe with its history and traditions but one needs a change once in thirty years.

@Steliyan_Petkov_Georgiev I don't think the country is important as much as the social environment you're in. You can live in the US and still lack taste for "innovation and genuine optimism". I like Europe so I'm givin it a thumbs up :)

I currently live in Europe but I want to live in the USA for a couple of years. I like the way Americans think about innovations and their genuine optimism. In Europe you will find hundreds of people who are going to tell you home and why something is not going to happen. In the USA they will encourage you to try.
