Well, it seems that Android OS is blowing away everyone according to the latest data. I can't say I am not surprised. Open OSes and software in general usually don't get more popular than the closed ones. http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-smartphone-platforms-2011-7
@Yordan_Yordanov, I heard some good things about the new MS mobile OS - Windows Phone 7. I am not sure if they are not too late for the battle. Here is the video ad, not bad:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHlN21ebeak
HTC HD7 - although it is windows based, it is an option as well :)
Here is a nice picture of how typical users of different phones look like in their eyes and in the eyes of the others. http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2010/11/ev17d3.jpgNow I only need to choose the coolest character. I suppose the typical HTC EVO user should look much alike the typical android user since both phones are manufactured by HTC.
Since you'll be carrying a brick in your pocket (I'm referring to the size, compared to what you are currently used to), it better be a brick that will serve you better.
Buy the phone that suits your needs best. If it's for the fashion - get the iPhone, nothing screams "fashion" louder. As for the extras .. I guess you won't use 90% of them anyway.
iPhone and give it to me as a gift...
I was thinking of buying a smartphone lately and I started wondering which one to pick. I am aware now after the famous video trilogy ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvA8Hdmit-U ) that HTC EVO has more features and is technically the better phone, but still I am still gravitating towards the iPhone. You are probably going to hate me and mock me for the reason why - because it is more popular. And this is even half the reason I want to buy a smartphone in general - because I want to keep up with the technology fashion.
